We provide free clothing for school-age children (K-12) in Clackamas County.

The PTA Clothes Closet of Clackamas County's mission is to provide free, gently-used clothing, shoes, and personal items to school-aged children in need, who reside within Clackamas County. Having clothed thousands of children since its opening, our goal is to continue to serve our community through a variety of easily-accessible avenues. 

For most needs, families can connect with their student’s principals or counselors to request items.

How do I get clothing for my child(ren)? 

We host events throughout the school year for families to attend! Keep an eye out for communication from your schools, and subscribe to receive ParentSquare newsletters, for more information about upcoming clothing events.

If you are in need of clothing, shoes, or other items, you can also contact your schools’ teacher, counselor, or principal to receive a fulfillment request form to receive clothing.

What information do we need to provide?

The form will ask a few questions to understand items needed, child sizes, and additional details that may be helpful for our volunteers to fulfill the request. They will then ask for the adult name and contact information, to be used ONLY to contact you when the request is completed. 

Families DO NOT need to show verification of SNAP benefits, free or reduced lunch eligibility, or any other documentation. 

No referrals needed!

Donations Needed - We are accepting donations!

We accept good quality, clean clothing, and new school supplies for children of all ages. Donations may be brought to our Jennings Lodge Campus Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm. Do not leave donations outside the building. Donations must be delivered to our office. You may park in the front, ring the doorbell to the right of the front door, and our staff will help bring the donation inside. 

• Donations will only be accepted during operating hours. Monday - Friday 7:00am - 5:00pm

• Do not assume the building is closed because there are no cars in the front parking lot. Our staff park behind the building. 

• Any donations left outside will be disposed of in the garbage.

• We do NOT accept adult clothing, household or baby items such as strollers or car seats.

• Boys socks (new in package) - all sizes

• Boys pants - sizes 5-14/16 (xs-xl)

• Girls tops - sizes 6-14/16 (xs-xl)

• Women's underwear (new in package) - xs, s, m sizes 

• Women/Girls socks (new in package) - all sizes

• Shoes - All sizes + styles (toddler - adult) 

• School Supplies (new - backpacks, markers, pencils, etc)

We are no longer accepting the following: 

• Clothing sizes Infant - 2T

• Swimwear

• Outerwear sizes 2T - 5T

If you are interested in supporting our cause, please consider volunteering! Hours and tasks are flexible, no skills required!

All volunteers must have submitted and passed a background check through Oregon City School District in order to volunteer in our building. Please visit the OCSD website to fill out an application today!
